Dear Prayer Partner
I must apologise for not having written a Choir Prayer Letter for a while. However, I do hope that this has not stopped you from supporting us in prayer. Many of the prayer points are always valid. Nevertheless, I apologise for the time lapse since last writing.
I’m sure that I don’t need to impress on you the need for earnest prayer for God’s work, whether it be for any mission that you may support, or our choir. There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord does touch people’s hearts as we sing the gospel message. Indeed, we have seen instances where this has happened. As a choir member I know that my heart is often touched by the words we sing as a choir.
The year so far has been surprisingly short on opportunities to proclaim the name of Jesus as compared to last year. However, this has given us opportunity to prepare for the Brisbane Festival of Male Voice Praise in which some of our men will be singing in September.
We have lost a few men who have moved away in the last year but our number are still enough for us to sing in a variety of venues. We especially ask your prayer for our 1st Bass setion which needs more men
